This page explains how restaurants can control their participation in PayBuddy, including pausing, deactivating, or permanently removing their booking listing.
PayBuddy provides booking infrastructure that may power reservations originating from multiple discovery sources, including direct access, embedded widgets, and third-party discovery platforms such as maps or search services.
Restaurants remain in full control of whether they participate in the PayBuddy booking network.
Restaurants may request to pause or opt out of receiving new bookings at any time.
We will process opt-out requests as quickly as reasonably possible, typically within 7–30 days depending on verification and technical propagation across systems.
Any bookings confirmed before an opt-out request remains valid and must be fulfilled or managed by the restaurant.
PayBuddy does not cancel or alter confirmed reservations on behalf of restaurants unless required by law or system failure.
Where listings are accessed through external discovery platforms or cached systems, updates may take time to reflect fully across all surfaces.
PayBuddy is not responsible for delays caused by third-party systems, indexing, or caching mechanisms.
Some information may be retained after deactivation for legal, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or accounting purposes.
This may include booking history and transaction records.
We may require verification that the requester is authorised to act on behalf of the restaurant before processing any opt-out or listing changes.
Pause: Temporarily stops new bookings while retaining your listing data.
Removal: Permanently disables your listing from the PayBuddy booking network, subject to retention obligations.
Restaurants may request reactivation of their listing at any time, subject to verification and platform approval.
