These Terms & Conditions govern the use of PayBuddy, a booking technology platform that enables restaurants to receive and manage reservations.

1. Platform Model

PayBuddy is a booking infrastructure provider that enables customers to submit reservation requests to participating restaurants.

Customers may discover restaurants through various channels, including search engines, maps, and direct access to PayBuddy-powered booking pages.

PayBuddy does not operate a search or discovery platform and is not responsible for how users discover restaurants.

2. Third-Party Discovery Channels

Restaurants may be discovered through third-party services such as search engines, maps, or directories. These third parties act solely as discovery tools and are not involved in the booking contract.

PayBuddy is independent of these platforms and does not control their listings, ranking, or availability.

3. Bookings

PayBuddy facilitates the transmission of reservation requests to restaurants. A booking is only confirmed when accepted or processed by the restaurant.

The contractual relationship for dining services exists directly between the customer and the restaurant.

Cancellation and no-show policies are defined by each restaurant and communicated to customers during booking.

Where payment functionality is enabled, transactions are processed by third-party payment providers. PayBuddy does not store full payment card details.

Refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes are handled by the restaurant unless otherwise required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayBuddy is not liable for:

Restaurants are responsible for how they use customer data received through the platform.

9. Suspension

PayBuddy may suspend or remove restaurant access where there are repeated issues including inaccurate data, misuse of the platform, or customer complaints.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Acceptance

By using PayBuddy, you confirm that:
  • You are authorised to represent the restaurant
  • You accept responsibility for all bookings and service delivery
  • You understand PayBuddy only provides booking infrastructure
